General Information
So, you wish to learn about the wonderful realm of the Hayes? Well, my online minion, I will go through the agony of explaining the first 2% of what we are (the other 98% of the the Hayes would take approximately 327.6 years to explain, so we usually just try to get the "basic" 2% discussed.) First off, the Hayes is a fictional character owned by the Hayes Clan (taste the copyright!) and has many forms, which can be either male, female, or, for the really weird people out there, neither. Anyway, we are the Hayes. Therefore, the online clan owned by the Hayes is the Hayes Clan. We span around all games, but stay true to only the best console: Xbox 360.
The Hayes Clan is an Xbox Clan lead by danno1369, who monitors this website as long as our main one: www.thehayesclan.weebly.com!
We mostly play Halo, with a little bit of Minecraft on the side! Both of our websites are under extreme maintenance(thanks to amazing planning on my part), but we will have both websites up and running perfectly (maybe) by the end of the year. Yay!?!
About the Clan
The Hayes Clan, for those who haven't been listening to me pour my thoughts out onto this screen that you are conveniently viewing (probably with your eyes) is owned by danno1369. We are a non-profit organization and are currently not a registered clan. But we're amazing; we don't need registration, although we're are currently working on that issue. Our main purpose is to please God and have fun with life. We are a Christian group, and are open to helping others in any way possible. Anyway, our goal is to have fun with the game (mainly Halo Reach: the best game ever... of all time) and use skill whilst doing so (so no armor-lock noobing, which is now a verb.) We are currently accepting new recruits and we consider all of our members as family, so if you were to leave our family, you would be shunned by the Hayes all around the world. If you are interested in joining, send me an Xbox LIVE message.
How to Join
In order to join, send me a message or join my Xbox LIVE party. Mention the clan to me, talk with me for a while, and if you pass my "test"(which is just me getting a feel for who you are and also seeing if you are a kind person) you will be able to your get started immediately. If I "mysteriously" leave the party and you never hear anything from me again, you probably failed.

MLG? Maybe
Are we an MLG clan? Officially, no. Almost every "MLG" player I have played with was a complete jerk. Therefore, it is our goal to practice MLG tactics without becoming jerks and overly confident. If you think that MLG means using skill no matter what, then yes, we are MLG. It is a matter of interpretation.
Training System
Ooooooohhhhh. So you want me to give out the secret to everything. WELL! This will not suffice. I will not comply. I would be giving away too much. What I can say is that our current training system is a little informal compared to some other clans. All you have to do to train is join my match when invited. It is not required that you join every time. Aside from that, it took me years to learn everything that I know, so it will require some delayed-gratification. You will NOT get good instantly. I try to teach you in the same way that I learned. If you have a problem with how you are being trained, please let me know, and I will see how I can change my approach.
MY Halo Reach/4 controller setting. If you want to know how I personally play, I will share it with you. Here it goes:
Controller Setting- Recon
Look Sensitivity- Halo: Reach- 8 or 9, Halo 3-10, Halo 4- 6
Toggle Crouch- Enabled
Vibration- Off
Look Inversion- Inverted
Screen Brightness- 3(Default, for Halo Reach)
Now, before you hang me for using such an odd control layout, let me explain:
Controller Setting: I personally use the Recon layout because I not only used it in Halo 3(which was then Default), but also it just feels more natural to me.
Look sensitivity: again, I find that this is natural for me. I just find that 4 is not too fast or slow.
Vibration: Yes, my vibration is turned off. I find that it helps me aim better when being shot when my controller is not being violently ripped out of my hands and halfway across the room, or, most recently, out a 3rd story window by a vibration.
Look Inversion: I only play on inverted because that is how my controller was set WAY back when I started playing Halo.
Screen Brightness: This is just good for my current Television. It may vary across TV brands.
Aside from a lack of vibration(which I highly recommend), controller settings are all a matter of opinion. If you want to experiment with other controller settings, I would suggest it, you may find one that you like better than the one you have.
Terms you may (or may not) want to know
The following terms are used pretty frequently in the Hayes Clan:
Lagnoob(Lag-Noob)- Someone who uses absolutely no skill whilst having K-mart connection.
Armor lock noobing- The act of being a cheap jerk and armor locking.
Zombtor(Zomb- tor)- An infected player in infection(which we hardly ever play.)
Hayes Lunge- Lunging with a sword, but being too awesome to obey physics.
Ninja- To jump over someone's head and assassinate them.
Fool- You when you inevitably fall for a ninja.
Derplet- A foolish person.
Nooblet- A person who has no skill.
Stand Still Sniper(SSS)- is this one not obvious?
How to tell if you are an "MLG"
You know that you are skilled when you:
Claim the Assault Rifle is the "BE5T GUN EVAZZ!"
Trade your Magnum(or DMR) for any other gun, especially snipe.
Think Active Camo makes you invisible whenever you activate it after your opponent has already started shooting you.
Think that the shotgun takes skill.
Falls for ninja on a regular basis.
Think that Cross Mapping with a DMR is skillful.
Go around screaming into your mic "OOHHOOHHHOOOOO! I killed you!" When the person you killed is beating you by at least 3 times your score.
If you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic. Unfortunately, all of these things are done by people I play with on a regular basis. If you do any of these, you are a nooblet. I have just given you tips on how to get better. Now spam my inbox with how helpful this was. :P
Conclusion
This should conclude the basic 2% and give you knowledge of what we are about. When this book I just wrote gets published, I will inform you. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I hope we can welcome you into our loving family. :)
